I got that same 30 30 at a coast to coast store back then for only 99 dollars..
Wish I still had it but a guy talked me out of it a few years ago for 2 hundred..

I have that same gun it was my first deer hunting rifle. My son killed his first deer with it .I still take it at least once every year.

Lucky you! That is a nice piece. My first deer rifle was a 336 in .35 Remington caliber that i purchased with my paper route money 64 years ago.
