Nice!!! I agree with you on the trapping part to be able to help other wildlife to live on.
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

Not much of a story. Took advantage of the rule change that allows hunting all day on private land. Worked from home that day and headed to farm at around 4:30. A storm blew through during this time so waited till 5:30 till the rain let up. Walked into a ridge field to see if any birds had come out after the rain and nothing was spotted.
Drop into hollar (roost area) on the other side of the field and made a couple calls. Moved 75 yards and repeated. This time a hen answered me from across the field. I moved to a fence line and snuck up to the edge of the field. Spotted the hen coming across the field at about 75 yards. Behind
