We started shipping ours out Monday. We sent out around 140 bred cows so far,260 to go. They go to a group of network farms that do daily rotational grazing through the fall for us. Bring them all home for weaning, preg checks, vaccinations, and ship back out again. Looks like it’ll be time to start chopping ryegrass/wheat once we’re done sending cows. The end product. No bone?!

We sure need some rain around here. Many pasture ponds are dry, even some watershed ponds dry. The grass isn't getting a good start to the growing season. How's the wheat looking?

I've managed to do a lot of traveling and I love getting to see new country. That being said, few places compare to the flint hills. It is an ecosystem born and bred for large grazing animals and hunting, fishing, or trapping opportunities are literally endless. It breeds the type of men and women who you can still shake hands with and anything in writing is basically redundancy.
