We trappers are few in number. Hard to get a politician to vote your way when animal rights becomes a more popular religion exponentially.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

ou tell us jtrapper. And while you are at it, how many states did other organizations get saved and how many states lost their rights?

Im not asking for your money nitty, not asking you to join the jtrapper club, not telling you things you want to hear BUT if i was, id be more than happy to tell you everything i was doing and where ever dollar went, same as i did for four years when i was president of the alabama trappers association, had ONE member the whole time that wanted to look at the check book, it was at every meeting and every convention, any member could check it out when ever they wanted.

Called transparency!

I got kicked out of the NTA for making posts on this forum, so my opinion would probably be considered biased.

You cant change anything if you aint there,or run away.
Politics is a funny thing-you need to be able to persuade people to follow you more than the other guy can.And good political skills go a long way to that end.
Some have it and some dont.

Well said Boco.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Very true statement Boco, which makes for a difficult decision coming up. I would like to offer a differing point of view; but, I have respect for Paul, his website and the no politics request. In addition, I don't want to provide our national organization reason to cancel me for anything said here.

Sportsmen’s Alliance is a great outfit. We had a baby anti issue here in Kentucky and they got on the phone immediately and scared them out of it and it was withdrawn. I’m very comfortable with United Trappers of Kentucky supporting them.
