We had one at work. Ran great and would pull anything you hooked it to. Mileage was horrible no matter what.

Adam M has one 2000 or 2001

it is a 5.4 with 9 and 10 cylinder

I have heard they are very reliable it is the engine in all the Uhaul trucks because they are not used in passenger cars they haven't had to change them up a lot to meet dumb regs

parts search shows same coils and plugs in 2003 and 2019 so seems like they didn't change too much

heard good things about 2003 service trucks with V10 in them , being the power and cost they say they make more sense than the insane $$$$$$$$$$ for a diesel

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I had a 2001 f250 v10
Started every time i tried it. Gave it to my daughter they use it for a feed truck. It drifts all over at highway speeds and actually drives better after you've had a beer because then you don't notice the drifting lol.
Got 12 mph empty or loaded

We have a 2021 V-10 F350 with a dump bed on it at work. About 8 miles to the gallon loaded or not. I told them to buy a diesel.

I work for an utility. Had a 550 with the 10 cylinder it was a service truck with an altec squirt boom on it . I think it was 2012? When I got it . It had 19000 miles on it. And was on its second motor. I took it to over 250,000 thousand. It would get around 6 mpg . But that was including alot of idling and running the boom. The replacement I have has the Godzilla motor and a 10 speed transmission. I like it alot better. Seems to do better on gas.

I drove the U-haul V-10 twice from Florida to Arkansas. It was fun but I wasn't paying for gas. Engine was everything you needed but I had to shift the transmission manually instead of letting it do its own thing.
