Frozen stuff normally doesnt have preservatives. Some of the refrigerated stuff doesnt have any, Ocean Spray generally doesnt have any. Really just need to pay attention to lables

The juice aisle of your grocery store. I've made hundreds of gallons of hard cider from store-bought juice.

BTW I quit using Chinese juice when I heard about the chemicals They use in their orchards.

Very few, if any, have preservatives. Read the ingredients.

Welch's white grape and cherry makes a nice wine. I make it in five and six gallon batches.

For six gallon batch
8 three quart bottles of Welch's white grape and cherry juice
5 pounds 4 ounces of sugar
6 tsp of yeast nutrient
2 tsp of acid blend
3/4 tsp of tannin powder
Lalvin RC-212 Wine Yeast

I start with 7 three quart containers of juice and add the 8th one after about a week.
In a bucket mix ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Stir in yeast.
Syphon into a six gallon carboy.
After about ten days, add the 8th bottle of white grape and cherry juice.
In about four weeks, syphon into bucket.
stir in three tsp of potassium sorbate and 1/4 tsp of sodium metabisulfite.
Add clarifier. I use Dualfine Beer and Wine Clarifier
Syphon back into carboy.
After about three or four days, it's nice and clear and ready to run through filter and bottle.

Third carboy from the left is white grape and cherry and the far right is about half way done.

Thank you. Everything I look at has potassium as a preservative. I am using it, it is fermenting, but don't know if it will finish properly.
