every Suicide vest is a real suicide vest until you put 3 rounds 7.62 through it and detonate in place with a EOD charge placed by a robot.

do that once and I bet it shuts that right down.

Robots were a new thing during my last days as an EOD tech. We usually just walked down and placed a charge to BIP (Blow In Place). I never used the bomb suit. It's main function was to keep all the body parts together in event there was an explosion. I saw it as a hinderance to mobility. Robots would be the way to go.
