Simplest solution is to go buy a new one. Bound to find old one soon as you do.
It only took me two years of looking for my digital fish scale to find it. Found it right under turkey call I set on top of it a year earlier when I wasn't actively looking for the scale the summer before. Only search that cabinet dozen times where I kept it looking for it. Right there whole time looking right at it..
Is like looking for morels just didn't have my eyes right.
But anyways buy new usually works for me sometimes. Then you will have your back up.

While your looking see if you can find my dad's pliers.

Two questions. I've temporarily lost things this way.

Were you in somebody else's vehicle with them? Left them there?

Do you keep GPS in a certain bag or just loose? I have almost lost an item by it accidentally getting tossed out with the garbage

Hope they show up

Till that day.....

I missed placed my trap setting tool fall of 22 season couldn't find them this last fall. My son was doing a remake on a set this fall. Says look what I just found?? There was my setting tools settled down over half way in 5 gallon bucket dry peat moss. Been riding on the UTV with us for a week now idea they were there.
Some things just disappear.

I can't find my sons shotgun barrel. It has the slug barrel on and I can't find the other one to save my life. So frustrating.

to be honest I have absolutely no darn clue I thought my range finder was in my back pack and my barrell was in the safe but they weren't so I looked where I had them last and sure enough there they are.
