I bought a solid tire for mine. I absolutely hate it !
Tire actually froze to the ground this winter by the wood boiler and it pulled a chunk out of it about golf ball size. The wheel barrow has no suspension without an inflated tire and feels like it now sports a wheel whittled from a stump with an axe !
I wish I had just bought a mounted tire and gave it a healthy drink of Slime !

I wish I had just bought a mounted tire and gave it a healthy drink of Slime ! That is a major drawback on wheelbarrow tires. No bounce to the solid ones at all.

I had thought about doing the foam, but I feared dropping a heavy load on the tire would flat spot it.

Been watching utube videos about that. Seems if the tire can take a lot of foam (wide tire) ( riding mower) it works. Dunno how long though. just

Tried it on a wheel barrow it didn't pan out well. Once added some weight the foam crumbled inside and turned to mush.

the tricks I use is gum spray foam or duck tape because it fixes everything. but after popping two tires on the same wheelbarrow I just got solid plastic tires
