Wolves are still good. It's gotten warm the last couple days so not much longer now. I have shot good wolves onto early May but that's not too common to see

For sure the white foot is a local gene. I've seen it in certain areas with lynx, wolverine and marten. I have an old picture of a marten from the delta with a thin white tip of one foot. The only white footed marten i've seen out there to date. On the line I've trapped the past three seasons I'd say roughly 20% of the marten had at least one white foot. Black muskrats are also a regional gene thing from what I've seen

Never mind all those fur primeness charts - auction grader proved that a few times. And you can get a poor one anytime.

My goodness. Look at the varied colour tones.
I've always thought a nice one, displayed as a rug on the wall would look wonderful. With the colour of the rug around it a nice contrast to the fur. I saw a badger done that way and it looked amazing. All the tones, from the belly to the back , legs, etc, could be enjoyed, all at once.
Well done, Ryan.

I might have missed it, but it looks like you’re framing a shack.
