Maybe I just missed it, but I haven't seen the first thing about "syruping" yet. I always enjoy reading and looking at the set-ups some of you have.

It was a very early year for tapping for most of us. Earliest I ever remember anyway! Tapped trees in February.

The warming climate has not been kind to the maple syrup industry. The long stretches of good late winter weather with warm days and below freezing nights are pretty much a thing of the past.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

We tapped in February, which was the earliest for us. We pulled taps before the trees budded out to any extent, but it is still the darkest syrup we've ever made. Still good!
