Anyone mess with any of Midsouth's bulk bullets ? Apparently nosler makes them .Either the varmit nightmares or the match monsters ? About to get some for plinking and fire forming stuff , but wanted to see anyone used them for anything more .

I think that is the Hornady 55gr SP the BC is .235 on both , they look alike
both come in similar bulk boxes

maybe not but the same BC and weight and cannalure I think those are probably hornady seconds.

I have 4 k of the 55gr soft points. They work just fine the hp do the job on critters as well. I don't shot ars in .556 much so it's been ,,, probably 9 years since I bought them it was a big buy but I still have a lot left now.

Accuracy is as good as expected with a ta 31 acog. Not as good as I got with 55gr blitzkings by a long shot but easy to hit quarters with them and that's good enough for what I'm going to use a 5.56 for. Kills coyotes about as well as any other sp. I will buy again.

I'm not one to have plinking ammo and hunting ammo and full with swapping mags and adjusting zeros and shoot what I hunt with. Same with my self defense ammo.

all moly coated and tucked away somewhere. Can’t remember how much they were but I think they were about
9 cents apiece.

Yes, many rounds of 50&55 grainers.
Never had any issues.

Also run a lot of Sierra seconds as well.
Takes a little extra time to sort them, but it's not a problem.
And it works out well that they're next to Starline Brass

Can you still buy seconds at the Sierra factory? I hard heard when the ownership changed they quit selling seconds at the factory. I’ve still got pounds of their seconds and they shoot just fine.
