Literally!

At the K. Falls OTC sale I was asked to do a clean skinning beaver demo. After I was done I threw the carcass outside the building next to my truck. A woman came looking for me a while later begging for the carcass since she loves beaver meat. "Sure says I, go ahead and take it". Well, for the first time since then (two weeks ago almost) I had reason to open the back of the truck to put something in there and discovered that the gal had gutted the beaver and put all the organs and guts in a plastic bag and into my truck! And apparently my canopy is not "fly tight" so the bag was maggot infested.

Wish the gal would have told me!

That was rude of her.

Nothing worse than magnets on them carcasses, that’s what my granddaughter calls em. I cleaned up my pile today before it warms up.

At least it was in a plastic bag!

I got the same mess, about 3 beaver I never got rid of
from about 3 weeks ago, been cold but the fly's don't mind I guess.

When I used to trap out of my car, I had to pick up a friend, whose car had broken down. He rode with his head out the window the whole way back to his house and complained a lot.

My friend, Ralph, piled up 106 dead raccoons. When I pulled into his driveway, I thought he had died from the smell of the pile, that was hundreds of yards away.

Years ago I did a ride along and helped out a fellow ADC guy on some jobs. He used a van. Got into the van with him and it stunk bad because of something he had it prior.

I just said " Ahhh....The smell of death. "

Good news she probably ate the beaver. Better news, she left you the best part.

2 or 3 months back, I had a 2 lb. pack of ground beef that was left in the cab of my truck and was not discovered until I opened the door about 2 weeks later. Luckily, the plastic package didn't leak but it sho did stink in there. I tried about every trick I knew of and the smell didn't weaken much. I even put several paper plates of charcoal in there and it was still a nasty smell. I bought an ozone generator and ran it for 30 minutes a couple of times and that took care of the smell. If you use one, make sure to let the car/truck/camper/room etc. air out for an hour or so. Don't breathe that ozone, it'll kill ye deader than a mackeral.
