I just watched recording of a flight between 26 yo Muhammed Ali vs. 46 yo Rocky Marciano.

Good stuff. Ali's skill and speed were incredible. Marciano's power and endurance was amazing.

After looking at that, I think Jake Paul is in real trouble. Tyson is older than 46. But Jake Paul ain't no Muhammed Ali.

Paul better stay on his wheels, pick his shots, and try to take Tyson into the late rounds.

At 46 years old, I don't think Marciano was at the top of his game. But it appears to me he still knocked out Muhammed Ali.

Old guys can still get it done!

Sounds like it will be an exhibition bout. 16 oz gloves, shorter rounds. Doubt if many real punches are thrown.

You could be right. But after seeing the "exhibition" twixt Ali & Marciano, I'll bet Tyson & Paul are gonna get it on.

I think all of Jake Paul's matches are exhibition matches with the winner predetermined.

He has only lost one match so far and I think that was just to lend some credibility to his matches.

I recently watched Jake Paul's match with Nate Diaz. Diaz was very obviously instructed/paid to go easy on Paul. He basically let Paul use him as a sparring partner.

I've watched Diaz's bouts in the UFC against the best MMA fighters in the world. He could've have easily destroyed Jake Paul at any time had it not been a scripted match.

There is no credibility and not even much entertainment value in Jake Paul's exhibition matches for me. I spent the entire Paul vs. Diaz match wondering when Diaz would cut loose and finish the guy...which never happened.

I may watch the Paul vs.Tyson match if it comes on YouTube or somewhere else for free. But I have no doubt it will be more of the same scripted nonsense. .

Eh...wot?

Marciano in his prime would have beat Ali’s arms while he was on the ropes until Ali couldn’t of held them up

The fight is more about making $ than winning or putting on a good fight. The hype and promotion will far exceed the product.

Marciano and Ali never fought ... It was called "The Super Fight" it was just films of them doing some sparring.

I wish I could have watched The Brockton Block Bustah live.

Just to dang young

He beat a 38 year old Jersey Joe

He beat Joe Louis when he was way past his prime

But Rocky beat the fighters that were put in front of him at that time in Boxing.

Was Rocky retired ..when Sonny Liston was up and coming ?

That would have been a beauty ...185 lbs vs Liston at 210

Rocky retired at 32....way to soon.

He saw Sonny Liston moving up the ladder....and got out of Dodge

There are 9 years between Rocky and Liston

So rocky at 35 ...fights Liston at age 26... That would have been a fight !

There was also 9 years between Rocky (29). ..when he fought Walcot (38)
