Nimzy remember that only FHA Grade1 prices are shown, not the true across the board prices like some of the posted above. The mink and rat averages seem to be spot on in looking at what I sold up there. In the country in this market junk is treated as such. In Groeny videos you see occasional no value pelts.

GFW is quick to post routes, price increases (without saying the prices), and encouraging trappers on what species to go after. It would sure be nice if they’d notify when markets turn the other way, even if it is during buying season. Have they turned? Or is it a seasonal thing? The auction gauge showed improvement in many species with higher prices paid and better clearance. The cost of doing business has increased, diluting the return. Perhaps we spinning out of this rut. Hopefully FHA can adjust to lower selling costs if/when this thing gains some traction. Realistically we are heading in uncharted territory with the ranch adjustment and Kopenhagen falling. You could go on and on. Saga saw a $4 increase in brown ranch mink from last year. Sounds real impressive if you give the increase in percentage since they are selling so cheap.
