I got a pretty good pile of those victor pinch pans. Sometimes a coon will get the pan off but not often.

Had a couple dozen of those I used for fox circa 1975. I cut those pinch pans down a bit though, to prevent misses. Also was a good muskrat trap for log sets, toilets, & feed beds. I preferred the round, circular pan style much better for fox, though. Those old victors pinch pans bring back a lot of memories. w

Jayme I always felt that both the Victor #1 1/2 sq.pan coils with dbl jaws and even the #2 sq jaw Victor with dbl jaws would have been the traps to have back in the early days of trapping. Use the #1 1/2s in the water and the #2s on land. I really liked the 1 1/2 DJ, wish I had a couple dozen of them. I don't know if I've seen a the #2 with them. I bet it would be a great mink trap too, it wasn't a pinch pan style was it?

I bought two dozen 1 1/2 DBL jaws when coon price was high, added more swivels, swapped out the springs for maybe #2 Montgomery that I had four coiled and had around. Great coon trap at that point.
