Looking like going to be another banner year for these little SOBs. Not like I keep records of when I start picking them off me. But finding this one on my neck this morning gets to be first one for 2024. Time to hit the yard with permithrin again I guess. Mac "Never Forget Which Way Is Up!"

Dang things about year around here seems. 50 years ago never saw them. First saw they were in the ears of ground hogs. Makes one wonder where they came from. Then wonder if is any truth to this. https://www.newsweek.com/pentagon-weaponized-ticks-lyme-disease-investigation-1449737

They are close to having a vax for lime disease,so just need a shot or two in the near future and youll be good. They are also close to finalizing a vax for aids also. Science has advanced quickly on account of all the money pumped into perfecting the covid vax. Lime and aids vax are a fringe benefit from all that research.

They HAD a Vax for Lymes decades ago, got pulled pretty quick. I was my Doc's first positive patient, 1990, and my wife had it in 89. Was misdiagnosed by her Doc, our veterinarian knew what it was!
