I saw four longbeards with three hens this afternoon in North Central Pennsylvania, the gobblers were in full strut.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Really starting the ritual here also. The other day they were gobbling and hens talking like crazy. I couldn't see them but they were happy about something. I have seen at least 8 mature Toms so the heavy crew are showing up and the youngsters are on the fringes now. Lol

Yep, they have already bred most of the hens here in my part of NC

Hopefully we can still find a couple willing participants here in a couple weeks when season comes in

Gotta live up to the nickname...

Opened the door on the Heatmor wood boiler this am and a gobbler answered back.

Blizzard here now warming up next week another confusing spring ahead with not much snow in the high country most of the winter now they are getting some but that’s nothing compared to other years.

The more limited the early access the better it keeps the fair weather hunters out of the mountains that way.
