Mike here are some FPS 330's that don't come stock compliant for NY regs
Because of the bend in the jaws the dog doesn't reach if you take of the center bar and move the dog to the jaw. A longer dog is needed. I bought some over the internet cheap a few years ago and didn't realize the center bar for the dog was welded on it

I see, they bent the jaw down to narrow the jaw spread.

Some guy was trapping with those a few years ago and i kept running across them, had never seen that type 330 before and had no clue who made them.

The inserts shown prevent the springs from running the jaws. The next year they wrote new regs just for us. I went to foot traps and 280s after that
