That’s sweet. What’s the rifle caliber?

New a guy that had a bunch of drillings, Not sure where or how he got them but sold them all to support other habits, my cousin has a few and I don't think he's ever fired them... They were all German made and were continental calibers.... most likely 7.something up to 9 ish mm. I believe they were primarily designed for driven hunts with anything up to boar taken.

It is a sin to put a scope on a drilling

That was my guess too.

These are super interesting! Germany especially has a pretty long history with combo gun like this. Extremely interesting how the gun Smith has to adjust the barrels so they hit all in the same place smile personally though I like the kiplauf rifles more

7x64 would be my guess for the rifle cartridge…. I have a Brenneke and it is one of my favorite pieces. Basicallly a 280, but it was conceived over a hundred years ago.

It could be or it could be 7x57R. That drilling is VERY interesting with the rifle barrel on top. They are usually underneath.

I have nothing clever to put here.
