At Fur Harvesters are these lynx cats classified Northern or Central? Big difference in selling price.

That’s a good question. I think a northern NY Bobcat could fall into several categories, it all depends on how much white belly and how many spots.

NY Bobcats are one species I will not send to FHA, can do better after tanned at local craft market.

My section of bobcats have gone north-central, central and western. So who knows. This year I sold 5 in the association sales and they averaged just under $175 each (not the ones in this pic but very similar).

I have never done well on our bobcats from the tug. The last two I have been able to sell to a taxidermist for a decent price.
