Do belisles fit in your standard H - stabilizers. Wasn't sure by looking at them with the jaw configuration. Was wondering more for the bottom where the stabilizer and jaw meets

I think the Belisle Classics probably would.
Most in this country have things people in other countries only dream about. Yet, they want America to be more like those other countries.

Trapper7 I'm not familiar with belisle classics. Were they the first ones made and a little different ?

Belisle will work on all standard h- stands and deep water. They are snug, but, they stay put until fired. Sarge

Dale, I chop up pieces of 3/8ths rebar and support bottom/top jaws with those. Works like a charm. I had a bunch of supports welded up for Belisles but prefer using 2-4 pieces of rebar.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Trapper7 I'm not familiar with belisle classics. Were they the first ones made and a little different ? They don't close as tight as the Super Xs do. But, are much easier to stabilize when setting them They still have the same strong springs and safety hooks as the Super X do. I have a couple Super Xs , but prefer using the Classics.

For tee pee sets with poles, use a safety gripper and disengage the spring safetys before sliding the trap on the poles.Once in place on the poles fully compress the trap and it will clamp the poles then engage the trigger, remove the safety gripper and drop the set into the run. You could do the same with the steel superstands, but I dont have a problem with the belisles fitting on my superstands.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
