with the meat from trapping, I use all the beaver that I can, I also use or sell the heads and tails, I also eat all the bobcat meat, we did a taste test of pulled bobcat meat live on the radio, last Friday, 12 people 10 that had never tried bobcat before. All like it very well, I believe this goes a long way with the Non trapper, on their opinion of us,

Good for human consumption for sure Trapper D. I eat beaver from the traps, rabbits from the snares and grouse that I shoot if I am out at camp and want to extend my stay. To me it is very valuable as bait also.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Have you ever tried eating Wood Chuck? Yes, I have eaten groundhog. Makes a great taco.

Do you skin all, then butcher, or skin one, butcher one? I'm assuming you switch knives?
