I also use or sell the heads and tails, I also eat all the bobcat meat, we did a taste test of pulled bobcat meat live on the radio, last Friday, 12 people 10 that had never tried bobcat before. All like it very well, I believe this goes a long way with the Non trapper, on their opinion of us,

Good for human consumption for sure Trapper D.
I eat beaver from the traps, rabbits from the snares and grouse that I shoot if I am out at camp and want to extend my stay.
To me it is very valuable as bait also.

Do you skin all, then butcher, or skin one, butcher one?
I'm assuming you switch knives?

Don't forget to bone out that otter. No finer expectorant to clean out the digestive tract immediately after attempted consumption.
I do not believe that even bacteria can stomach otter.
