Kind of person. Do you finish one task/ repair/ project before starting another or start multiple. Or work on them a little at a time and finish them as you go. I will say it depends on the season and priority. I will start one or two and do what I call a Johnny Cash special. One piece at a time as money permits. Now of course emergency repairs are self evident. Sarge

I tend to start a lot of things get them usable and never finish them because something not usable needs my attention. And the process repeats. So my solution is to hire some things out. I just don't have the time and focus.

Yep, agree. As I get older. It's easier and sometimes cheaper hiring someone to do the work and off to the next one. Sarge

All the above for me. It took me 20 years to complete the kitchen. In the mean time put on a new roof, new chimney etc etc......jk

I start a project it’s a marathon for me I will skip meals and work until I run out of light to get me to stop if it’s not finished. My goal is to finish the job to be “free” again even an appointment a week away becomes a burden waiting to get it done.

I'd say parallel - serial ... for years have had responsibilities for multiple projects, but only work on any one project at a time. My boss always insisted on one project folder on the desk at a time, the rest files in the drawer. Now that I'm retired, have multiple ideas roaming around in my head and always a honey-do list; but, only work on one project at a time moving from project to project as time and resources permit.
