Bought this car "SUV" a couple weeks ago. Seems alright so far. Better gas mileage than the ole Silverado, but makes me consider a man-bun...? blush

Are you drinking your whiskey with your pinky up in the air too?

I have nothing clever to put here.

I test-drove a Subaru the other day. My children and a friend I am either a tree hugger or a lesbian. I said I didn't buy one. Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited instead, great deal on it.

Guy at work bought one. Weve been threatening to put rainbow stickers on it. He gets a lot of crap about it. Its actually a pretty nice car though.

The wife has had two CX-5s. Great cars, reliable, affordable, holds value, tires they come with are crap. Rotate tires like suggested in manual, at the miles suggested, that's the only complaint I have with the vehicle.

I don't understand men that feel like their choice of vehicles makes them more or less manly. Weird.

I always told my students my favorite vehicle is bought paid for and runs! No brand loyalty at all, nor style. My first vehicle was a front-wheel drive 4-cylinder my Dad found from a guy who moved to Wisconsin from California. It was awesome, it would fit inside the skidder tracks and ruts in the woods, I could drive right to ponds to trap!

This.

Lowest cost of ownership. I have owned many , many cars/trucks over the years. Gotten some real cheap , some for free. Current beater is a 2005 Mazda Tribute AWD 6cyl. Got it for free , it has serious rust issues underneath and will get junked soon. Been driving it for over 2 years. I spend as little as possible to repair it as it will be in the boneyard soon.

My daughter had a Subaru, yeah I know the reputation of the buyers, but she's not a lesbian... Darn nice vehicle, if they made a mini pickup truck I'd seriously consider it.

So far, mpg is around 30. I drive about 800 miles per week for work and corporate pays me the std gov. mileage rate. I wish I could buy a cheap, used car to use every day, but I have to be able to work every day, so it has to be reliable. I tried the other way for a couple years and had to take days off for repairs, waiting a week or two to get in shop and renting a car to keep working. That doesn't pay real well. The way I figure it, corporate will be paying for my new rig, including gas/tires and I get to own it.

Oh, and I just realized, I have a big bald spot where my man bun should be. frown
