I try to eat non processed, natural foods 99% of the time. Biblical or not, I’m not sure. Maybe it could technically be.
“There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.”
With that said, I can’t help but think that eating healthy foods the way God created them (or as close to it as possible) is the best way to stay in good health. The processed foods and preservatives are numbing us and causing us to have to rely on pharmaceuticals which can alter our minds and bodies I like your response. Both carnal and spiritual

Just interested in other's views on the subject of food in the bible. Spiritually and Carnaly. The seed swap got me to thinking.

Actually eating the way leviticus tells is better for me as ive had high cholesterol and plugged aorta for yrs. The cakes? Thats all me. There was sure good reason for the dietary laws for Israel. There future suvival may have depended on there strength and physical welfare. Every man would be against them. We have liberty in what we eat, thank the Lord. I love my Bacon. She'll fish, and junk food accassionaly . Knowing that my heath and longevity would probably be a little better without such. But spiritually I like to dine on healthy things.

Sometimes being washed can be a good thing. Eat what you think is " right" and I'll eat what I want.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Well, the title of this tread is a clue.? bucksnbears My point of this thread was not to try and influence any one diet plan, or certainly not tell any one how to eat. I just returned from a small bible study. We had beaniweenies, with Kroger BBQ sauce 4 different desserts loaded with processed sugar and flour. And Kroger potato salad with chemicals half of with I can't pronounce the names. I was just wondering what different views were from peaples biblical perspective.

If the WEF people have their way, we'll be doing John the Baptists diet. Probably wont be getting much of the honey though, at least not the real stuff.
I'm more of the "kill and eat" diet.

I'm more of the "kill and eat" diet. I wonder if he killed the locust before he ate. Maybee the 70s fad of chocolate covered insects is on the horizon. I had some Vegans tell me that John the Baptist did not eat honey and locust that according to the Book of Essenes and the Gospel of the Ebionites it would have been illegal for him to have done so. Locust would have been meat and he couldn't go near anything dead let alone eat it. He could not have eaten honey because that would be stealing from the little bees that worked so hard to make it. They say John ate manna cakes from a plant which according to them is still in existence today. Those people also made no distinction between Nazarite and Nazarene in a feeble attempt to prove Jesus did not drink wine and also did not eat fish and in His miracle of feeding the multitude he would not have killed the little fish (because he wasn't violent) but instead fed them with grapes and bread, lol.
