I’ve been helping a guy out around his place and he has a floating dock for geese to nest on… the recent wind we had popped the ropes that had actual anchors tied to them…
I was wondering if regular cement bricks would be okay to use… would there be a risk of anything from that concrete that could hurt the fish in the pond??
I know it sounds a little dumb,,, my opinion would be absolutely fine to use them… but I’m not a biologist and know nothing about long term concrete in a pond.

Fish have been successfully cultured in concrete raceways with no problems.

Material would be ok. Don't know how well they will hold depending on size of dock... Get you some 5 gallon buckets and couple bags of quickrete . Eye bolts. Fill them about half full . Mix it up and put eyebolts in the mixture. Let it set over night.

This.

May as well fill buckets all the way. Make as heavy as possible.
Use chains instead of rope

When I worked for the State parks we used large pieces of concrete to anchor the floating docks.
