When I was a kid, we used to see deer strapped to car hoods. Nobody batted an eye. I miss those days.

Same thing here when I was a kid.

when my youngest kid took hunters ED 8 years ago the deputies putting on the class were talking about hiding your deer , under a tarp or in the back of your suv

and changing out of your hunting cloths before going to the registration station

that was illegal you had to keep your deer in plain sight untill registered , they harped on that and not letting your loaded gun lay on or in your car. both were common violations to get ticketed for.

now one is encouraged and the other you can set the loaded long gun on your car just not in the car

also since 2011 guns don't need cases and that was a don't get caught with your case unzipped

handguns since 2011 you can keep loaded *
