Plenty of other places to hash out politics and cuss and bash and insult each other and get all worked up. I like the idea of having one place where politics not directly associated with trapping are strongly discouraged, and I like that my kid can read here and not have to ask “ whats that word mean dada?” when a post uses “substitute” words for profanity.
Not going to lie I do enjoy going to other sites and reading all the uncensored cussing and spitting at anyone who cares to have a disagreement about most anything. But my kid will have to wait a few years before I show him that circus.
I like the house rules here, and there are other houses with other rules when I am in the mood for a little swank. Your kids involved in the kids forum? Yeah, probably not.  As always, some will get special treatment. I started a thread a few days ago asking SPECIFICALLY which person Trump would pick for a VP with solid 2 A values and it got nuked? Paul has said MANY TIMES as long as the thread is about the 2A, its OK but yet....  I guess I isn't special  As far as the kids forum goes, I think what the whole site is being presented as a kids friendly place. The kids forum is dedicated specifically to kids learning or interested the trade, but the rest is for kids also. Truth is my kid is just along for the ride and looks over my shoulder sometimes, he doesn’t look at tman on his own. He is just learning to read. I did have him picking out words on tman the other day and sounding out ones he doesnt know. But hopefully he will be interested at some point, and when he is,I appreciate that I can send him here. I regularly visit another trapping forum, and until he is 12 or 13 at least, I will keep that login to myself.

I like Boco. He's got a lot of good knowledge. I also like his stories of his days as a traveling carni in the circus. He was never in the circus, he was just a fluffer.

Same here ... As this was my main " news outlet " and that leg got chopped off, I won't be on here anywhere near as often. I'll still pop in now and then for squirts and giggles though.
