I went to show my self-tanned ringtail hide to a buddy and found it stiff and curled up.
I haven't looked at it a few years. I did a pretty good job on it. I am wondering how to
soften it up now, long after the tanning process, Thinking about some neatsfoot oil.
Anybody got any ideas?

Wet it down until pliable then use a good tan oil on it while still wet. Break it as it dries. About all you can do.
