These things are shock springs combined with a swivel. They look very interesting to me. Anyone using them? What is the "shock pounds" of the device, need to know if it meets North Carolina trapping regs of 40 lbs.

And I have done a web search for them and the only thing that I have found is a rifle tripod that someone named Harris is marketing. Where can you buy them, any idea what they cost per dozen?

Contact Kim Harris @ 406-450-5961.He told me he doesn’t sell the coyote sprivels separately but does sell the wolf sprivel for $4 and cheaper by dozen or hundred.I put some on beaver traps and I’m very happy with them. You need a welder to connect them to trap if that makes a difference to you.I think they have a 75 pound spring.

First I've heard of them. Ingenious design.

PIT is referring to Paws-I-Trip, a line of trap hardware offered by Ed Medvitz. I think he was calling it MY Industries?

I liked his shock spring in the 78# version. His dog and pan setups are pretty nice also.
