Just curious, how many of you use trail Cams to test sets and lures during the off season/?

I did last year and found out catnip was very attractive to my deer and rabbits.

I have in the past. Watch their feet along with other things.

I do some but the vast majority of my testing is done without cams for multiple reasons. Usually 100+ test sets a year.

My brother uses trail cams. He has convinced me to get some. I on occasion have just tested using lured/baited sets with large area dirt patterns in the off season

Till that day.....

I have several trail cameras that regularly take pictures of coyotes being coyotes. But when I put baited or lured sets in front of the cameras , these same coyotes just when right on by . No marking no scratching no digging. [Linked Image]

Not for testing bait or lures, but more to monitor animals using an area. Coyotes and cats. Can’t catch what isn’t there, right?

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

The problem with cameras is they sometimes confirm what you already knew .

That's a fact, its like fish, deer or squirrel. You got to have em', before you can get em'
