In the last 4 weeks I had purchased a Remington 700 7mm08. Savage md 12 6.5 Creedmore, A Remington 700 30-06 and a Ruger American 22-250. A 350 Legend upper for a AR-15 and a 6.5 Grendel upper. Just seems to be a lot of good buys lately. And it's real hard to pass up. Plus a Vortex 10 x 50 Diamondback HD binoculars.

Yep. Definite sickness. You should seek psychiatric help. Just make sure you don't tell them WHY you need the help or they'll take all your toys away. You've bought more guns in one month than I have in my 40+ years on earth.

I was talking to auctioneer last week and there having Babe Winklemam auction in June. He asked if I want to Consign some guns. I'm thinking maybe 40 or 50. Could be a good pay day. I'm sure they will have a good turn out.

Some folks just buy to buy. I buy for specific reasons. I also stick to basic calibers. Easier to buy cases of ammo when you have just a couple calibers. I’d hate to have to just have a box for each. I spend on “toys” that will benefit me. Owning guns is cool and all, but to buy just to have serves no purpose, lol.

The good news is it's a curable disease, at least it was in my case.

I stopped buying those newer, low-quality Remingtons years ago, haven't even been tempted since.

Yep. I have rifles in 30/06, 30/30 and .308. So,I can reload for all with just about the same bullet or bullets.

Now, nothing wrong in buying what you want. I once was collecting all the Ruger 77 models. Had quite a few. Got expensive, but made money when I downsized.

I have been building AR-15'S for over 40 yrs. And have a stock pile of them right now. I would like thin the herd by 30 of them. I have them in every caliber made for a AR-15. And I only shoot the 223 and 204 and 300 Blackout.

Same disease as the crazy lady who has way too many cats just different symptoms. With guns it's easier to keep the symptoms hidden and there is a return value when you are freed from the disease

I will have to throw the flag on that one . I believed all the BS on here from the naysayers, then I setup a Howa in 6.5 creedmore for a guy. Now I own a ruger America in 6.5, it likes the heavier bullets ( 143 gr. ) but I’m very happy with the gun and the caliber.
