Right out of my wife's mouth " the dining room and the kitchen is woman's domain". I figured that was quote and thread worth. Now I promptly told her how sexist that was and she just mater of fact with that is not wise to say another word look smile and nod " that's fine".

Another of my favorites was my Daughter when she was about 7, she wanted to "ride tower of terror at Disney so she would know if she was big enough to ride it next year". She decided she wasn't big enough after riding it.

When she was about 3 she was having trouble getting her straps in her seat on. I told her to quit messing around and get them on. Then the hold up became apparent. She reached out with her hand and " here hold my booger". I told her I was not going to hold her booger throw it down. Then she protested " but it's still squishy "

What are some of your families memorable quotes. I won't let my wife live today's down.

Chuckie always says “it’s not this AND that, it’s this OR that!”
He also says “pray for the best, expect the worst!”

"Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it."

My dad asked our six-year-old daughter. What are you going to do when your dad and mom butcher that calf when it grows up?
She looked at him and smiled and licked her lips as she slurped and said Mmmmmm

Another from my daughter when she was very young. The kid would spot every animal we passed sometimes deer I missed seeing even. One such tile she sees a heard of deer in early spring and excitedly exclaims " there some deer daddy shoot them I want to eat them". Now I think she was 3 or maybe 4. So I had to try to simplify season and dates. Leaning towards when they have babies to take care of for simplicity.

Now my wife went even more simple than that falling back on a quote from her brother when he was small. And that was that" aren't in session because they are not ripe yet" county kids
