What is this oil made from?
Is this a certain type of OIL or just a generic term for all mild sweet musky smelling oils?
I'm not asking about Sweet Skunk Oil, I know how it is made.
Russ Carman mentions mixing Civet paste with Sweet Oil or olive oil.
So what is Sweet Oil? Thanks!

I make an ingredient called sweet musk. It's my own twist of a formulation of a product called the same. Have no idea if it's the same thing your referring to.
Could be like muscaro, several makers sell a version of it but none smell quite the same nor does anyone know where it originally came from or what its really suppose to smell like.

Bob, Thanks for clearing this up, for some reason I was thinking they where two different products, Sweet Oil & Olive Oil. Wishful thinking on my part.

Something I want too do is sun render some Muskrat Fat Scrapings when I have enough to work with. I'm thinking it might have a good mild musky smell? Maybe leave a few muskrat glands in it. I like the musky odors for bobcats.

What about Sweet flag? I've heard it called sweet oil before, incorrectly probably
