Looking at getting a trailer so I can have all my equipment in one place. I have stuff scattered in too many different places at the moment and would like to get everything from traps, stakes, support, tools, parts, beams, stretchers, everything except bait and lure. Anyone have ideas or pictures?

Just park it in the shade in the summer, they get pretty steamy in there.

Make sure it's well vented. Milk crates work good for storing traps.

You can buy shipping containers fairly reasonable that have doors in the back and some have them on the sides as well. Assuming you have a place to put it permanently.

I want it to be portable (might take it out of state) and would like to build shelves for storage. Live in town so don’t want a shipping container or semi trailer, but yea those would work great for a permanent spot. Have over 1000 traps and a lot of other equipment if that gives you an idea of what I’m looking at. Just wondered if anyone has done anything like this and how they set it up.

That's a lot of weight. You might end up getting a triple axed trailer or you might end up blowing tires or bending axels. I wouldn't worry about set up until I got the trailer.

I always thought one of those big toy hauler trailers with stabilizer jacks would be the way to go. Storage and/or fur drying space up front, generally has a ventilation system already installed. Room for storing the snowmobile or utv. Pull the vehicle out and you have room for fur handling. Fold down counters along each side of the trailer. An optional roll-up awning on the side and adding a receiver hitch tube for a receiver mounted hide puller. Generator and heater optional.

Guy I worked for years ago built a construction trailer by taking a car trailer and building a wooden shed on it. Worked great held up pretty good. Super heavy duty. Might be the ticket for you. Paint to match the house so it fits in.
