Afterwards, while checking another part of property for beaver activity...the dang road had no bottom....walked a mile to get the 50hp Kubota...pulled truck out. Doc said I waited too long to have the surgery...already had nerve damage. Guess there is a positive in about everything...if you think about it. Thank God For Your Blessings! Bob_Iowa trapper B Joined: Jan 2019 Posts: 3,676 North central Iowa	Been awhile since I’ve done my thumb like that, the pickup I was backing out and fell through at least your hitch was above ground I had to dig out about 6 inches to hook the chain.

Didn't feel like trekking back to the truck to get tools to adjust pan tension. Managed a 2nd night catch there and then we had 5" + of rain and the whole area is underwater.
