probably MN largest firearms retailer

4000 guns were traced and they kept tossing around that number without ever saying how many of those 4k were sold by FF

not a great article

The straw buyer/seller is the one who needs to be prosecuted for lying on the form and failing to comply with the law. I bet the forms were filled out and the background checks cleared the sales made by Fleet Farms.

Even if we assumed that ALL or NONE of guns were sold by FF........that still means that nearly 11 guns per day......each day...... for three years.......... were recovered at crime scenes.

I don't believe that for one minute.

All part of the plan, fine retailers and tie them up in court until they give in. The Dems are using the law and liberal judges to achieve their goals, look at Trump.

Are you not familiar with Minneapolis? Its one of the most crime-ridden crap holes in the US.

addict's are addict's
you tell the addict that they need to buy a gun to get their drugs
print off the form and have them have it all memorized on how to fill it out

they caught cartels in Racine Wis on a multi year investigation were buying all sorts of stuff with straw purchasers
guys who looked the part of someone who would drop a pay check on a FN-SCAR to buy them and turn them over to the local cartel contact that owned a bar
the local shop got suspicious when they had sold their 4th Barrett 50al in 6 months and and they normally sell 1-2 a year.

as long as the borders are a sieve at best drugs come in guns and money go out.
you could lock up criminals you could secure the border but when the cartels have near unlimited amounts addict's and money.

I love buying guns from Fleet Farm. Just bought a Ruger American Ranch in 350 legend and got a heck of a deal.

Sounds like they were gathering all the correct forms and didn't do anything wrong. Why should it be the seller's responsibility to track frequency of purchase, and why is it anyone's business if someone buys a lot of guns? "Dropping a paycheck on an FN" shouldn't be suspicious.

Let's use those stats...

Minneapolis and St Paul are 21 and 50 in total crimes reported, respectively. Combine the "twin cities" and they're #1.

best way to compare cities is crime per 100,000 people.

How does a retailer discern what a buyer will do with their purchase? I thought insta check was going to make all the more bigger government whiners happy?

the NICs system tracks frequency and they were not buying more than the normal amount.

when you have people willing to lie on a federal form and a history of not prosecuting people who do so then there really isn't anything being done to limit this.
and they were disposable people the cartel could burn anyway
when an organization has that kind of money and disposable people

they can move tons of drugs up and weapons and cash down because the administration doesn't care they are more interested going after Joe law abiding for a slip up in paperwork he looses his ffl or go after him for owning a peice of plastic that was made illegal by administrative change . than they are fighting real criminals.
because Joe law abiding doesn't gun down their agents when they show up for the arrest.
