Great pics as always JP! You're a good trapper. Get that baseball team out there to trim that trail for the snow mobile. Thanks Scout! I like the trails closed in like that and rough. It keeps the sledders from wanting to go down them.

Good year, that cat is wicked! The coons were out quite often with this stupid weather. Unfortunately out of the 4 wolves I got, 1 was so bad I tossed it, hair falling out. In hind site, I shoulda kept the shoulders & up to tan myself for something, but I did keep the claws, skull & tail. I’m guessing the ones at your place turned out ok besides the damaged nose? Ahhhh Ha! I recognize that lumpy tree growth, now I know where your line is…..LOL
I caught a Wolf with really bad red belly and half the belly had no fur around the groin. I kept the head up to the shoulders for a pedestal mount. STAY OFF MY LINE!!!!

You had a good season. No footholds on your line, all snares and conibears? Too hard to keep them working with all the snow I guess?
Was that bobcat/lynx caught in a coni by the foot? Yup caught in a conibear by the foot. I do set MB750’s for wolves as well. I had about 15 set out. I wouldn’t want to set a bunch of footholds for fox in the snow. Too much maintenance and slows you down a lot.

Mad mike, no the safety isn’t on. There’s a stick poking up that makes it appear like it’s the bar on one spring.

Really nice pics. Started to shiver and had to stoke the fire again! Great season! Some beautiful fur there.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
