They did not say NYC it was some area so not knowing where exactly where that location was NY was what was reported.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Squash, you gotta understand, to the "I" staters NY is NYC, can't get it through their heads that there's a lot of NY besides those 4 cities. I think most understand that, just not why you stay. One reason, my parents that are in their 80's. Kids, grandkids and great grandkids also live here along with other lifetime friends and family. I live out in the country and on a farm. One traffic light towns around here. We also have some of the best trapping, hunting and fishing right out side our windows. Local politics are Republican and fine. State politics are democratic horrendous. I'm also the kind of person that's stays and fights for my rights. These are some of the reasons a lot of us stay.

I would like to know why they do not outlaw those knives. Especially the semi auto ones!!! It's "knife violence" Randall, just wait until the "baseball bat violence" starts, Lol. HA HA HA!! Then they will outlaw Baseball!!!

We stay because we don't want to surrender our homes & heritage, and all our great trapping, hunting, & fishing. to down state NYC democrats and become transplanted, displaced, unwelcome Yankee refugees who now have to pick cotton for their rebel neighbors to make a buck !!! And the fur quality down there sucks, too !!!! lol, lol, lol, lol !!!  w

Another reason is no real natural disasters here. No earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes.
Tony, we actually had 2 very noticeable earthquakes up here last year !!! w
