Ltrman, I'm retired and pretty good at it.
Trapping? I've been on Tman a long time and I don't recall ever seeing a trapping post by you.
I'd wager that you can't wait until you retire from the useless USPS.

A lot of whiners on this site about everything known to man. Use another company for services if USPS does not meet your personal standards. Why would they do that....it's so much easier to commiserate with fellow whiners on Tman. If it's not USPS it's FedEx or UPS. How about everyone say what they do for a living and we can give anecdotal evidence of how bad you are at your job. After reading some of these posts ..there should be an uptick in pacifier deliveries..... Seems to me that you are the one whining. There are a lot of legitimate concerns voiced on here and the toxic attitudes of postal service workers like the one you expressed here is a big part of the problem. It wasn't that long ago that it was hard to get a USPS job and they could be selective about the people they hired, but like most corporations they are now forced to hire from a pool of lackeys and low IQ people. The woman who carries our mail here is a perfect example of a lazy dipstick who slacks whenever she can and even skips a part of her route from time to time just so she can get home early I suppose. I just happen to be on that section that's easy to skip. There used to be a saying about the reliability of the USPS, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" well that's become a pathetic joke.

In my area, all of the rural mail delivery is done by contractors. They are not USPS employees. I was about to say that I thought rural delivery was done by contract.

I would guess the USPS. No different than if you contract some one to build you something. When someone puts a stamp on a letter or pays postage on a box they are paying for it to be shipped to the address on it in a reasonable amount of time, no matter who delivers it. If a contractor can not deliver mail to the correct address that he runs every day should he work there?

I really haven't had much trouble with stuff getting lost. Sometimes there are delays (especially when it hits Memphis) but I've not had anything lost. I print out all of my labels so maybe that helps. With some peoples chicken scratchin I'm surprised most of their mail doesn't get lost.

Yesterday I got the three pieces of mail that were my neighbors back on 3/6 again. I took them to the post office and they were gone for lunch. The even had a yellow sticky on one with my last name wrote on it. I am wondering if it will come back again. He has a PO box in a town of 350 people. You would think they would know he has a box in town.
