Anybody use anything new this season and what were the results? I tried two. The first was Jameson's Sierra Mist. That stuff flat catches some critters. If I'm making a rub set this will be a go to. The next was the Boss Man's Spots and Greys. Didn't get this until the last week of my land trapping season. Made one set and as advertised it was good for a grey fox. Look forward to giving this lure an all season try.

Nice! I’ve had success with Mississippi special and Tri nitro. For fox and such. My go to is night owl lures and Hoosier trappers supply.

Backbreaker is great for beaver, not needed to try others really.

Spots and greys is one of my go to cat lures. Sierra Mist will always be in my bag as well. You tried two excellent ones as far as I’m concerned.

I don’t think I tried anything new this year, but got some new stuff in from Mr Jameson the other day that I’m excited to try out

Never used their lure, but some beaver lures that kill it elsewhere,,,,, will not work in my area.

When using those lures that won't work for you, you weren't trapping bare footed were you?

I was disappointed in my favorite call lure this year it seemed to not be adequately antifreezed for cold weather I could not mix it by shaking it when it was just a few degrees below freezing. Never had that happen before and it has a different color every time I order it so that has me concerned as to the quality and formula consistency now.

I see others now looking for older stock bottles of it they must have the same concerns.

Call Lures Ive always like Gusto, Violator 7 and Klondike.... I have not bought many lures and no cat or beaver lure in years cause I make my own but with beaver lures a few that worked for me no matter where I used them were....Backbreaker, Cavin's Timber, SweetWater Flattail and Dam-a-Dam.... Just good solid lures you can trust

I have caught more coyotes and foxes on Mr. Carmin's K-9 call than all others put together over the past 35 years.

Are you using the new production canine call? ...I ask because someone in the trap shed is trying to buy old stock, but I honestly can't tell any difference between new & old stock myself.
