After a bad day of trying to plant oats I went to town and got a cardboard pizza and a 12 pack of Pabst.

Ain't nothing wrong with that!
It was a good day for planting oats given the wind wasn't blowing 40 mph...

I can see what you’re talking about….the least you could do is to evenly distribute the toppings!! Presentation is everything.

It was going pretty good until the sun went under then I couldn’t go 20 feet without plugging and, me being as bullheaded as I am I didn’t quit, and man I’m sore now.

Kids were happy with this meal. I made some simple bread dough and wrapped cheddar lil' smokies, home made hash browns and some corn.

20 min at 350 until the bread is done and brown. They are naturally dark colored if that is what you're referring to.

I had some hamburger thawed , a couple bunches of asparagus , and thought a chees burger sort of sounded good but we just had them Sunday.

diced an onion and a pepper started them in the skillet with some oil , then broke up the burger and added that to brown
then cut up the asparagus leaving most of the woody ends out.
then it was all cooked up added a bit of butter to melt in and a half block of sharp cheddar shredded up
came out good severed with some mayo and hot sauce.

Don't forget to leave it in just a little longer as well so the crust has a little crunch to it:)

Is this time in March quite a bit earlier then normal for planting oats in your area? I know when I lived and worked in West Central WI during HS we had two fields that were almost pure sand and when weather permitted we would plant as early as we could to have seed into moisture. We were never able to do the 1st week of March. Most times the last week of March was as early as we could get.

Yeah by far we could have planted them in February this year, most of the time you’re lucky to get them planted in March, as it’s either wet or still snow on the ground.
