Went to an auction Saturday. There was some nice taxidermy.



This lion went for $3000 not counting the 18% commission or the sale tax.



The middle buck went for $175 and the other two for $100 each.

I got outbid on one camping lot and asked the winner if they would sell me what turned out to be a hard backed wheeled duffel bag. They agreed to sell it to me for $10. Inside was a havalon knife, which was why I was bidding. After I got it home and checked it out better there was also, a garmin etrek gps, knife sharpener, an Ozark Trail rain jacket, a Bushnell 850 lazer range finder, and a belt carry ammo pouch with 8 rounds of Rem 7mm mag. I got my $10 worth.

It cost more than 100 bucks to mount those bucks.

They look pretty decent!

Lot of memories for the original hunter.

I bought three mounts last hour of estate sale, two antelope and coues buck.
Lady said every thing in house $1, sold all 3 for $300 on craigslist.
I was happy got plenty game mounts already. They were in garage stuffed away covered in dust!
