Was......but now with all the millions here im not. Really gripes my goat for the second time in a yr to go to a walmart and see about 5-6 short guys with 4-5 carts of nothing but pepsi and mt dew laughing and having a good ole time gettin in the 50,000 dollar truck. Dairy farms around me been hiring them for yrs..pay them 15 an hr cash plus free house, plus half a beef a yr. Now i guess they can go claim illegal status and get welfare too??? Makes me sick.

If you are a straight white conservative male, the U.S. Government is not your advocate.

Here is a crazy idea. If they can put tracking collars on wolves, cougars, bear and deer why not put tracking collars on the illegals that explosively self destruct if removal is attempted with anything other than the coded key or at 5 years which is plenty of time to become a citizen
The job of a Patriot is not to protect his country but to protect the people from the tryannical government

The money we spend on border control and the costs associated with crossing for safety reason etc. etc. could be spent better in my opinion on setting up an immigration system that puts the resources into staffing, and many other aspects of control. It would be cheaper to establish the sites in Mexico and we could create the needed infrastructure to that. We need a workable immigration program. We need younger immigrants and younger well trained immigrants along with those who do not have established skills. We can create avenues to citizenship paid for both by the immigrant and the employers. Our problem today is illegal immigration is to valuable a political tool to resolve the issue. We also don't penalize those firms or individuals who hire the illegal workers, many of who support politicians who want to close the border yet hire them anyway. As to cash? Most are paid by check around here and there are monies taken out for taxes and SSI. Many will never collect on those funds as there have been many changes in the individuals ID over time. Also we blame farmers and yes they hire a lot of immigrants, but here in WI the estimate is that there are roughly 70K illegal workers working in WI with roughly 6-8K of those working on farms. So it is the other industries that are hiring the bulk of illegal workers here in WI.
Bryce I would seriously vote for you for president having never met you. Always a well thought out articulated response with facts and valid points. Now that I think about it, you won’t fit in Washington! Happy trapping! ScottW
