I understand your desire; ruptured my Achilles a few years ago and was out of commission for a few months. Depending on the reason for your restriction, you have to ask yourself if it is worth the risk of a setback that might be more permanent or extend your recovery much longer. Maybe take the opportunity to get caught up on other things? That said, if you have a good partner you might be able to stay in the game. Just be very careful and don’t push it. Invest in and wear a good brace if that’s an option.

I ran snares off a ATV when I could put zero weight on my left foot due to a shattered heel. I rode side saddle so I could shift. The cattails were a challenge to get through. Once the snow got some depth was the shut down.
