How far of drive is your gun club....so you can shoot.

For me ...door to door is 30-35 minutes.

5 miles have been a member many years.

If its not muddy or crops in about 2 minutes. regular range is about 10 miles.

In Wv the nearest open window or the Porch. In Fond du lac about 15 minutes.

I shoot on my property or in the woods. I have never been to a gun club.

Don't think I could live where I couldn't shoot in my own back yard. There is a gun club up the road where they shoot skeet, trap etc... It's only about 3 miles away

What's a gun club? Oh wait maybe it is a gun that no longer works and is therefore a club?

Drive??? From my cabin door to the place I can start shooting at the swinging pistol targets I have set up is .... oh... probably 4 steps . For my 100 yard set up to make sure my scopes are on is a little farther... say about 30 steps. If I want to shoot out to 300 or 400 yards I do have a drive of about 3 miles, to one of our family farms. My shot gun shooting place is wherever I drag my Champion electric thrower too. This is why I could never hang my hat in a city. Lived in a local "major metropolitan city".... for the area at least...Swanton Nebraska, pop 98 when I got married in 1978 for a short time. Hated it. Will die in the country and plan on being out there forever... ashes thrown in the wind !

For me I just open the back door
and I have a thousand yard range
right off the back porch.

I can be chooting in 30 seconds !!!

Less than a mile, going there to recover some lead tomorrow.

One of EdP's sayings is "If you can't shoot in your back yard then your yard is too small." I can and do shoot in my back yard but also belong to gun clubs. One is 19 miles away (about 25 min) and has a range out to 600 yds with covered firing lines and concrete benches. That's where I do my load testing for cartridge guns. Another is a ML club and it is just over an hour away.

I mostly shoot here on my farm. For long distance I go to a friend's farm 6.8 miles from here. He has markers out to a 1000 yards.

In town have to go across the river and down to the end of Jacksonboro road.About a 5 minuit drive.
Everybody in town shoots there.Lots of targets set up at different ranges.
Or anywhere 5 minutes out of town your in the bush so no problem.
At the cabins on the traplines right out the door.

Club range is 5-6 miles. Private property to shoot on 6-7 miles.

From my reloading bench to my shooting bench is approximately 15 steps!!

My property is my gun club. A few feet to a door, or less to a window if I'm still in my socks!

We have a nice range set up (outside) with a berm backdrop and hangers for targets.

We have a couple of nice gun clubs around here though. One is seven miles and the other is ten miles from here.

About 4 miles. Open every day. 800 members. Rifle and pistol only. About the same distance to sporting clay club.

I guess I’m spoiled also! I can shoot out the back door, and shoot out the front door. There are two houses to the north of me, so I would not want to shoot that direction, but I have killed coyotes right from my doorstep, or right from where I park my pick up, south, east, and west from the house.

17 minutes to the indoor pistol range that is next to the shotgun club. The rifle range is another couple minutes further down the road.
