Me too, Id rather have a bridger and Ive got plenty of dukes I know some folks dont like bridger safeties and spring eyes but they never caused me any problems.. I understand though, everyone has thier own style... Back then they were $5-$7 cheaper than everyone else.. Not anymore..

That's real cheap, I'd snap up a few at that price. F&T has them listed at $25

They will work. And for some reason you have one stolen you are not out as much. I use mine in special places like that.

Magnums will catch your by catch. Muskrats and mink.

Replace the factory dog with a believe dog and you have what I think is the best 330 out there. You will have to do some tuning. I aim for 1-2 inches of movement either way.

I have had several as well as rear foot. I think this is the beaver kicking off after a turn on a refusal.

Just my 2 cents.

Have been using Bridger 330 for years. Beaver and otter will go over a trap if a large enough obstruction is not used which can lead to fired traps or leg/tail catches. Also, I believe some tail catches are a result of the beaver hitting the trap with tail in an attempt to disengage the threat. I have seen this enough in catches by the tail of very large beaver being buried at the hairline in a 330. I don’t have much issue with beaver and otter going over sets due to location and set construction. There are exceptions when trapping.

Yea I believe that too. Ive seen way to much trail cam foootage of beaver refusing to go through bodygrips, even well hidden ones.. They often slap or make a tight turn right at the trap.. I think thats why you get tail and foot catches

I learned the hard way magnum 330s needed to be staked better than the way I had been staking my non magnums.
