I forgot what year it was, but the major countries of the world agreed upon that there would be no drilling and mining etc in Antarctica and that it would only be used for scientific reasons. My guess is that some countries want to take back that agreement as there are abundant natural resources on that continent worth a lot of money. There is bound to be some kerfuffle over that in the not to distant future and everyone want to have as big of a slice of that cake as possible. Well, on the current path we are heading it won't be long before we are no longer a major country, so we will be able to drill, mine and plunder as we see fit.

There plausible evidence that the Scandinavians were in Canada and as far south as today's Minnesota in the 1300's. And 10 ships of Welsh families settled in North America, landing on Mobile Bay Alabama in 1170.
Guess we'll never know the details, but for sure I have learned to question everything I was taught in school about the Earth's history.

It's crazy how little we know about the history of exploration on this planet and the history of humans on the earth especially in relation to things like tectonic movement and the Biblical flood.
There plausible evidence that the Scandinavians were in Canada and as far south as today's Minnesota in the 1300's. And 10 ships of Welsh families settled in North America, landing on Mobile Bay Alabama in 1170.

That old map is very interesting. I hear the conspiracy theories too. Not sure what to believe is true unless I see it. A guy named Juan o' Savin gave a report from there the other day.

Very true. Antarctica also has complete ban on hunting and trapping. I can understand protecting the complete ecosystem that is unique to that continent , Butttttttt........... Scientific non destructive trapping of wildlife strictly for research would gain us so much knowledge , but it is verbotten. Another failed trapping ban.......

I don't think the earth is flat, but I do think there are certain places in this world where there are portals and allow for dimensional travel outside our understanding. Absolutely. That's how Sasquatch comes and goes at will, through portals. He's inter-dimensional. I read that in a Louis L'amour book. Riders of The Haunted Mesa, or something like that. Explains while all of the photos and videos of them are blurry. I need to find out what you two are smoking.

Cragar, the problem is if one allows any loose in those rules, folks like the Japanese will go and turn the thing on its head; Look at the ban on Whaling.... only allowed to take them for research and look what the Maps are doing. taking hundreds per year all in the name of science and they somehow make it onto the meat market after the "scientists " are done with them.

Very true. I think as most people that the Japanese 'scientists' are a complete farce. There is also a couple Scandinavian countries still doing very limited whaling. Luckily , they take from lesser whales like Minke whales that have very sustainable populations. But the world needs to hold the Japanese accountable for what they are doing. I just feel bad for the REAL scientists in Antarctica , who are losing valuable research.
